Precision Performance Motorsports persists and continues podium streak at Nola Motorsports Park

AVONDALE, L.A., (MAY 25TH, 2022) PPM continues to land podium finishes in both the Pro-AM and AM classes with 3 podium finishes at the 3rd and 4th rounds of the season at Nola Motorsports park.
The second race weekend of the season began with practice on Friday. Drivers of the #46 Super Trofeo, Bryson Lew and John Henry Capestro- Dubets, kicked off the weekend P1 in practice 1 and P5 in practice 2 in the Pro-Am class. Bryan Ortiz and Sebastian Carazo, drivers of the #47, finished practice 1 in P2 in the Pro-AM class. Ortiz and Carazo continued onto practice 2 finishing P4 in class. Drivers of the #48, Nikko Reger and David Staab, kicked off the day with a P1 finish in the AM class. Reger and Staab continued to stay in P1 for practice 2.
Saturday morning opened with 2 qualifying sessions. The #47 had a successful start to the day with a P1 in class for session 1 and qualified P5 for session 2. The #46 qualified P3 for session 1 in class and climbed up to P1 in class (P4 Overall) for session 2. The #48 finished P3 in class for session 1 and P6 for session 2 after struggling to get a clean lap without traffic.
The day carried on with unfavorable weather conditions resulting in a delay for race 1. As the storm settled down, race 1 got underway. Despite tricky track conditions, the #46 landed a P1 finish in class for the first of multiple podium finishes for PPM on the weekend. The #47 finished P5 for race 1 in class after experiencing a flat tire shortly after the pit stop window. The #48 finished race 1 in P6 after being spun by another competitor.
In race 2, the #47 had an excellent opening lap gaining multiple positions, and continued to climb up to P1 in class and a strong P4 overall. The #48 made a hard charge early up to P2 in class and maintained the podium position. The #46 finished P5 for race 2 after contact on lap 1 from another competitor, resulting in an unfortunate flat tire causing Dubets to go a lap down.
After rounds 3 & 4 at NOLA, Lew and Dubets remain P2 in the Pro-AM championship points standing, followed by Ortiz and Carazo close behind in P3. Staab and Reger maintain the points lead for the championship in the AM class heading into Watkins Glen.
Rounds 5 & 6 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo season will resume in Watkins Glen, New York June 24th-26th.
