No. 55 Chevrolet Camaro… Crew Chief Mark Setzer and the No. 55 crew will unload chassis No. 008 for Saturday’s Ford Ecoboost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This car was last raced at Texas Motor Speedway, when Brandon Gdovic made his NASCAR XFINITY Series debut.

First Timer … The Ford Ecoboost 300 weekend will mark the first time that NASCAR Whelen Euro Series’ Champion Anthony Kumpen will turn laps at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This is Kumpen’s third-ever XFINITY Series start and his first at a 1.5-mile track. This is another step on Kumpen’s Road to Daytona program – the path designed by Nexteer and the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series to bring European drivers to race in NASCAR in the United States. The Nexteer Road to Daytona program will culminate with the XFINITY Series event at Daytona International Speedway in February of 2016.
Setzer at Phoenix … This weekend’s event will be the first time that crew chief Mark Setzer has sat atop the pit box at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Setzer has plenty of 1.5-mile track experience though, leading the No. 55 effort for two seasons now.
Catch the Action … Saturday’s XFINITY Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway will be televised live Saturday, November 21st beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET on NBC and broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and SIRIUS XM Channel 90.

Anthony Kumpen Quotes:
“I’m looking very much forward to Miami. It will be my first time ever on a 1.5-mile oval and my third XFINITY Series race. It’s a big step in my 10th ever oval race, of which seven were on half miles or shorter. But I’m sure the guys from PPM will help me adapt quickly. I was really impressed with the professionalism of the team and the way they helped me forward as a rookie. I hope together with Nexteer and the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, we can work on a nice program with PPM for next season. I feel my driving here gets a lot of exposure in Europe, which could help grow the popularity of NASCAR as well as the Euro Series back in Europe.”
Mark Setzer Quotes:
“I am looking forward to racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway with Anthony after a great showing at Phoenix this past weekend. I’m excited for him to get out on to his first mile and a half racetrack and continue to learn these cars. At Phoenix, he was able to pick up speed every practice and through qualifying and we expect him to do the same at Homestead.”
