PPM takes home 6 race wins, the PRO-AM Grand Finals Championship title, the North American Pro AM title, and the Team Championship after a dominating 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Season.

The Super Trofeo North American finals commenced Thursday with effective practice and qualifying to give all three PPM cars lead positions on the grid for Friday’s North American Final. PPM swept the podium for Race 1 landing P1 finishes in the Pro-AM and AM class. The #148 finished P1 in AM for Race 1. The #147 was P1 in Pro-AM, followed by the #146 in P4. The #146 finished P1 for race 2 confirming the title for the North American Pro-AM Driver Championship for Bryson Lew and John Capestro Dubets. #147 finished P2 for race 2, making Sebastian Carazo and Bryan Ortiz the Vice Champions for the North American Pro-AM Driver Championship. Due to an alternator failure just before the race start, the #148 was forced to retire from race 2 affecting David Staab and Nikko Reger’s chances of winning the North American AM championship. Due to a tremendously successful season from the duo, the #148 was still able to finish P2 for the North American AM championship.

The PPM team worked rigorously to ensure the #148 was ready to conquer the Grand Finals on Saturday. #148 finished P2 for Race 1 and P1 for Race 2. Unfortunately, Staab and Reger were given a five-second penalty for contact on the first lap of the first race. This dropped the duo to P4 for race 1, P2 for the AM Grand Finals Championship.

For the Pro-Am Grand Finals, the #146 and #147 both picked up victories. After race 2 of the Grand Finals, #146 and #147 remarkably tied P1 for the Pro-AM title. The #147 ultimately won the title by a faster lap time as the tiebreaker.

The 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Season comes to an end after the finals in Portimao, Portugal. The PPM team proudly took home the Team North American Championship win due to the continuous dedication put in by all drivers and team members.
