WATKINS GLEN, N.Y., (JUNE, 27TH, 2022) PPM completes another successful Super Trofeo race weekend by continuing its victory streak at Watkins Glen International Raceway for the 5th and 6th rounds of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo season. All 3 cars made it to the podium, including 2 class wins.

The race weekend kicked off on Thursday with two practice sessions followed by qualifying and race 1 on Friday. Drivers of the #46, Bryson Lew and John Henry Capestro- Dubets, started P3 overall and P1 in the PRO-AM class for race 1. Bryan Ortiz and Sebastian Carazo qualified the #47 P2 in PRO-AM for race 1, while AM class points leaders, Nikko Reger and David Staab, qualified P1 for race 1. The #47 landed a class win in race 1 followed by a P3 finish for the #46. The #48 finished P2 in class, successfully closing the day with all 3 cars on the podium for PPM.

Saturday’s race 2 saw the #46 starting P5 in class, the #47 P4 in class, and the #48 P2 in class. The #48 maintained great pace in the beginning of race 2 and closed out with Reger taking the lead late in the race, bringing home a victory in class. After round 6 of the series, Staab and Reger climbed to a 13 point lead for the AM championship. The #47 remained successful with another podium, finishing P2 in PRO-AM for race 2, holding Ortiz and Carazo at P2 in the championship points. An unfortunate incident on lap 1 took the #46 out of race 1. However, #46 of Lew and Dubets remain in P3 for the Pro-AM championship points.
