David Staab secures World Finals AM runner-up honors as Precision Performance Motorsports concludes an outstanding 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo season with victories, podium sweeps, and a North American championship title.
MONZA, ITALY — October 25, 2026 — Precision Performance Motorsports (PPM) concluded its 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo campaign with an impressive performance at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale Monza, celebrating victories in the North American season finale and a runner-up finish in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals AM championship.
Competing against international competition at the iconic Italian circuit, PPM demonstrated its strength throughout four days of racing, with David Staab (#148), Gabriel Holguin (#145), and Cooper Broll (#147) delivering standout performances in their Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 machinery.
The weekend began with an exceptional showing in the final two rounds of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship.
In Thursday’s opening race, PPM achieved a remarkable sweep of the AM class podium.
David Staab claimed victory in the #148 Lamborghini, followed by Gabriel Holguin in second aboard the #145 and Cooper Broll in third driving the #147.
The result marked another significant achievement for the team, demonstrating the consistency and competitiveness that had defined its 2026 campaign.
Friday’s second race continued the momentum, with Staab securing another AM class victory and Broll bringing home second place to complete a PPM one-two finish. Holguin finished fifth in class.
Already crowned the 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America AM champion at Indianapolis, Staab completed his championship-winning season with consecutive victories at Monza.
The final North American AM championship standings also saw Holguin secure third place with 100 points, while Broll finished seventh with 68 points. Staab topped the standings with 154 points.
Following the conclusion of the North American championship, attention turned to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals, bringing together competitors from North America, Europe, and Asia.
Saturday’s opening AM race delivered intense competition and several dramatic moments.
Staab demonstrated strong pace throughout the race and moved into second position following a late overtake at Monza’s famous Parabolica corner.
However, a five-second time penalty for an earlier chicane infringement ultimately left the #148 Lamborghini classified fifth.
Teammate Gabriel Holguin also delivered a competitive performance in the #145, initially moving into a podium position before a post-race technical infringement resulted in his exclusion.
Cooper Broll did not start the opening World Finals race.
Sunday’s final race provided a fitting conclusion to PPM’s international campaign.
David Staab delivered another strong performance in the #148 Lamborghini, crossing the finish line second in the AM class to secure a World Finals podium.
The result confirmed Staab as the 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals AM runner-up, finishing second in the championship standings with 18 points.
Cooper Broll produced one of the team’s most impressive drives of the weekend.
Starting from the back of the 29-car field, Broll fought his way through the competition to finish fourth in the AM class, narrowly missing the podium.
His recovery drive highlighted both his determination and the competitiveness of the PPM Lamborghini.
Gabriel Holguin’s final race ended prematurely, with the #145 unable to complete a racing lap.
Despite the disappointment, Holguin’s earlier performances and third-place finish in the North American AM championship represented significant achievements in his 2026 campaign.
